Disclosure Day is an entertaining and ambitious sci-fi thriller that succeeds most when it leans into its mystery and sense of wonder. The performances are strong, particularly from Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor, and Spielberg still knows how to stage memorable moments of suspense and spectacle. While some of the plot feels familiar and not every character receives enough development, the film remains engaging throughout. It may not rank among Spielberg’s absolute classics, but it’s a thoughtful and enjoyable return to the genre that made him famous.
