Street Kings is a solid but ultimately familiar crime thriller. The cast does a lot of the heavy lifting, particularly Forest Whitaker and Keanu Reeves, and the movie maintains a steady pace with enough action and intrigue to stay engaging. However, many of the plot twists feel predictable, and the story doesn't bring much that's new to the corrupt-cop genre. It's a perfectly watchable thriller that delivers some entertainment but falls short of being truly memorable.
