While Scary Movie has a few jokes that land and some amusing genre references, much of the comedy feels repetitive and predictable. The movie relies heavily on nostalgia and familiar parody formulas without bringing enough fresh ideas to justify its return. It’s occasionally funny in short bursts, but overall it struggles to capture the energy and creativity that made the best entries in the franchise memorable.
